Educational Objectives:

By studying this coursework, students will build their knowledge and expertise in the basic theories and skills of international trade and financing, being familiarized with the related laws and regulations in international trade operations, with/having international vision and strong English communication skills in import and export practices, international trade financing and the global financial management. In addition to bilingually delivered business core courses, English enhancement courses are offered in lower division to raise students’ English level.

Students can study at Guangzhou College of SCUT (GCU) for 4 years to obtain degrees conferred by GCU. Qualified students also have the option to apply for ‘2+2’ program and ‘3+1’ program to study at our partner universities abroad in UK, USA, Canada and Australia in junior and senior years. Students who satisfy relevant graduation requirements will also be conferred corresponding degrees from our partner universities in addition to the degrees from GCU. Students might also be offered opportunities to attend master conjunction program.
